Gregor Deschwanden celebrated his first podium finish in the Four Hills Tournament during the New Year’s jumping event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The 33-year-old Swiss athlete secured third place after an impressive jump of 140.5 meters in the final round. He only finished behind Austrian Daniel Tschofenig, who won the event. Deschwanden now ranks fourth overall in the tournament standings, with hopes of improving as the competition continues in Innsbruck.
