In challenging wind conditions, Swiss ski jumper Gregor Deschwanden finished 10th in the qualifying round for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Engelberg, with a jump of 128 meters and 155.5 points. Austrian Daniel Tschofenig led the qualifiers with a jump of 136.5 meters. Only one other Swiss, Killian Peier, qualified for the main event, while Simon Ammann failed to reach the top 50 for the first time this season.
