The Consumer Protection Center Association announced that around six million people in Germany could participate, following a recent ruling by the Federal Court that simplifies the process to claim damages. However, potential compensation amounts may be limited, with suggestions of around 100 euros for general data loss, increasing for more severe impacts. Interested parties will need to wait until the New Year for registry openings to join the lawsuit.
