The Thessaloniki Municipality’s Department of Cleanliness, Recycling, and Climate Protection has issued guidelines for business owners and residents on waste disposal during Christmas. Due to the special conditions in the city’s center on Christmas Eve, businesses are requested to dispose of their waste by 16:00 and again after the holiday events. Residents are urged to minimize waste deposition on Christmas Day and the following day. Regular waste collection will resume in the evening of December 26.
