Haiti Gang Violence Claims 110 Lives in Witchcraft Accusations
In a horrific incident in Port-au-Prince, a gang led by Monel Felix, also known as Mikano, brutally murdered at least 110 elderly individuals accused of practicing witchcraft. This violence follows the death of the gang leader’s son, which was blamed on local voodoo practitioners. The United Nations reports that over 5,000 people have been killed in Haiti due to escalating gang violence this year alone. The killings, described as orchestrated, involved residents being rounded up and executed as gangs continue to exert control over the capital amid ongoing turmoil.
