Health Concerns Rise as Gastroenteritis Hits Primary School in Ptolemaida
Concerns are mounting over a gastroenteritis outbreak at the 6th Primary School in Ptolemaida, Greece, where nine teachers and one cleaner have exhibited symptoms. On Wednesday, 15 students were also absent due to illness. Two teachers required hospitalization, while others remained at home. In response, Deputy Mayor of Education, Katerina Katsiou, has initiated thorough sanitation procedures at the school, which remains operational. Currently, no cases have been reported at other educational institutions.
