Health insurance premiums for the basic coverage in the Netherlands will increase by €8 to €14 monthly, averaging €156. Major insurers like Zilveren Kruis, VGZ, CZ, and Menzis have announced their rates, reflecting rising wage and care costs. Zilveren Kruis will charge €156.25, while VGZ’s cheapest option is €151.90. The government plans to raise the zorgtoeslag by €6.50 monthly, but the eigen risico remains at €385, with future plans to reduce it by 2027.
