Recent heavy rainfall has resulted in the blockage of drainage systems near the Chorefto stream, damaging roads in the municipality of Zagora-Mouresi. The Thessaly Region has deployed machinery for repairs, as the area continues to experience landslides, particularly on the Dragkias-Chania road. The Deputy Regional Governor of Magnesia and Sporades, Anna Maria Papadimitriou, reported ongoing studies for needed interventions, which remain incomplete.
