High Dropout Rates Among T-Level Health Students Raise Concerns
A report by the Education Policy Institute reveals that nearly one in three students enrolled in T-level courses in health and science drop out within their first year. The dropout rate for these students stands at 31%, significantly higher than other courses. Contributing factors include poor exam preparations, a situation that led to a £300,000 fine for the exam board, and criticisms over the quality of teaching and work placements. Despite rising enrollment numbers, student experiences suggest that T-level courses may require further improvements to enhance their effectiveness and retention rates.
