High Dropout Rates Plague T-Level Health Courses
A recent report reveals that nearly one in three students enrolled in T-level courses for health and science drop out within the first year. The Education Policy Institute found that these students are 20% less likely to complete their qualifications compared to peers in other vocational programs. The high dropout rate is attributed to challenges during a 2022 exam fiasco, which prompted significant corrective action from regulators. Though enrollment in T-levels is rising, concerns over the quality of teaching and work placements persist, with the program’s structure criticized by both Ofsted and students.
