A high-ranking Russian general, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillow, who was the head of units responsible for radiological, biological, and chemical weapons, was killed in an explosion in Moscow. The blast, triggered by an explosive device hidden in an e-scooter near a residential area, also claimed the life of his aide.
