However, this move has sparked unease among descendants of these individuals and victims’ families. While a complete archive of related documents is not yet accessible online, they can be reviewed at the National Archive in The Hague. A recent survey indicates that many Dutch citizens still prefer not to have descendants of collaborators in public office roles, revealing ongoing sensitivity around this historical issue.
