Homebase has entered administration, jeopardizing 2,000 jobs as owner Hilco failed to secure a buyer for the struggling retailer. While CDS Superstores is acquiring up to 70 stores and the Homebase brand—protecting around 1,600 positions—49 stores remain unsold.
