A 10-year-old horse named Rufio broke free from a Scottish racecourse and was filmed galloping through the streets of Prestonpans, approximately two miles away. The incident occurred after Rufio unseated jockey Lucy Brown during a race in Musselburgh. Fortunately, the horse was safely returned to the stables unharmed, following help from a local resident. Musselburgh Racecourse officials described the event as an ‘extremely rare occurrence.’
