Houthi Rebels Target US Naval Vessels in Red Sea Operations
Houthi rebels in Yemen announced they have conducted two military operations against US warships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea within an eight-hour period. Spokesman Yahya Saree reported an initial attack on the USS Abraham Lincoln using cruise missiles and drones, claiming it thwarted potential strikes on Yemen. Following this, the rebels launched ballistic missiles and drones targeting two US Navy cruisers. The UK Maritime Trade Operations confirmed explosions were detected near a vessel off the coast of Hodeidah, but reported no damage or injuries.
