Hugo de Jonge Participates in the Dutch Championship Against Headwinds
Hugo de Jonge joined 300 participants in the eighth edition of the NK Tegenwindfietsen, a unique cycling event held in Zeeland where cyclists compete against strong winds on regular bicycles. De Jonge finished the 8.5 km course in under 25 minutes but did not win. Jurjen van der Velde claimed the title again with a time of 19.36 minutes, while Ingrid van den Wijngaard was the fastest woman. The event celebrates resilience against the elements and encourages participation regardless of skill level.
