Human Remains Discovered in Hautes-Alpes Spark Investigation
Human remains, including a skull and an arm bone, were discovered by hikers in Laragne-Montéglin, Hautes-Alpes, prompting an investigation. The Gap prosecutor, Marion Lozac’hmeur, confirmed the remains will undergo DNA analysis at the IRCGN. While there have been disappearances in the area, a lack of dating prevents any immediate connections. Nearby, pieces of fabric resembling clothing were also found. A search operation conducted by gendarmes yielded no further findings.
