A sold-out concert featuring twelve works by seven composers from Chios, Oinousses, and Psara is set for November 8, 2024, at the ‘Giannis Marinos’ Hall in Athens. This event marks the founding of a new organization dedicated to cultural, research, and philanthropic goals. Notable performers include soprano Haris Loupa and violoncellist Asterios Poufts, with insights shared by archivist Thomas Tambakos. The concert celebrates the rich musical heritage of the islands, aiming to restore and honor their contributions to Greek culture.
