The Metropolitan Park of Pavlos Melas is set to open in the fall of 2025, featuring over 10,000 trees, walking paths, cafes, and athletic spaces. A management body will oversee the park, which is expected to enhance the quality of life in the surrounding region. The second phase of the project will include three squares and two museums, one dedicated to metro findings and the other focused on Greek refugee history.
