The Municipality of Ioannina and DEYAI will inaugurate new modern wastewater treatment facilities on December 10, 2024. With a budget exceeding 20 million euros, this project represents the largest environmental initiative by DEYAI, significantly enhancing the protection of Lake Pamvotis and improving the quality of life in the region. The new facility, along with the modernization of the old one, will process wastewater for up to 240,000 residents, paving the way for new connections in Ioannina, Zitsa, and surrounding areas.
