On December 2nd, the birthdate of renowned Greek soprano Maria Callas, the permanent archive exhibition dedicated to her will be inaugurated at the Cultural Center in Kalamata. The exhibition showcases personal artifacts including photographs, gloves, and letters. This event marks a significant cultural milestone for Kalamata, enhancing its appeal to both locals and tourists, in conjunction with the UNESCO designation of 2023 as ‘Maria Callas Year’ to commemorate her legacy.
