The Ukrainian Literature Shelf was inaugurated at the Central Municipal Library of Thessaloniki, aimed at providing access to Ukrainian literature in both original and translated forms. This initiative, endorsed by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, seeks to preserve the cultural and linguistic identity of Ukrainian refugees. The opening was attended by Ukrainian officials, demonstrating strong community support. The project has previously been implemented in various European countries and features children’s books in Ukrainian to foster language learning among the younger generation.
