Increase in Bankruptcies in Netherlands: November Sees 341 Failures

In November 2024, the Netherlands reported 341 bankruptcies, surpassing the previous month’s total. Overall, 3,851 companies have gone bankrupt this year, significantly higher than 2023. The spike is attributed to pandemic-related tax debts, rising wages, and high material costs. Affected sectors include trade and construction, which saw 66 and 63 bankruptcies respectively last month.
