MOVE Ireland has reported a significant 34% rise in the number of men referred to its rehabilitation programs for domestic violence, with 394 referrals in 2023. The majority of referrals came from self-referrals (46%), indicating a willingness to seek help. However, the program faces challenges, as only a small number managed to complete it, with a high dropout rate particularly notable among probation referrals.
