During the last two days of 2024, a total of 103 refugees and migrants arrived at Chios from the island of Panagia Oinousson, including 46 minors. The first group of 39 was transported safely to Chios on December 31, following the detection of individuals on the island. This was preceded by earlier arrivals and nighttime patrols that found additional groups of newcomers, highlighting ongoing migration patterns in the region.
