Increased Consumer Activity for New Year’s Celebrations in Greece
As New Year’s approaches, there is a significant uptick in consumer activity both at the Varvakeios Market and supermarkets in Greece. Prices for traditional festive foods, including pork and turkey, show a range starting from 5 to 10 euros per kilo. Additionally, Christmas baskets with lower prices compared to last year are available until January 3rd. Stores will have extended hours over the weekend, remaining open until 18:00 on Saturday and 20:00 for supermarkets.
