Indonesian Nurses Reach Settlement with Avans+ College Over Unpaid Fees
Fifteen Indonesian nursing students have reached a settlement of 100,000 euros with Avans+ college after disputes regarding unpaid relocation costs. The students, who came to the Netherlands in 2021 as part of a vocational training program, claimed they were owed additional fees that were not paid due to tax reasons. The court intervened, facilitating the agreement which will see the amount distributed among fourteen students. One student was excluded due to a different contract. The college expressed regret over the handling of the situation.
