Doualemn, a TikTok influencer with over 138,000 followers, was arrested by French authorities for inciting violence against protesters opposing the Algerian regime. Following his controversial video, which called for the murder of demonstrators, Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau praised the police for the arrest. Montpellier Mayor Michaël Delafosse had previously reported the video for inciting hatred, and legal investigations are underway regarding Doualemn’s actions.
