The Mayor of Amari, Pantelis Mourtzanos, recently signed a contract for a €200,000 infrastructure project aimed at restoring and preventing natural disasters in the region. Funded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the project addresses damage from extreme weather events in November 2020, with efforts to improve roadway conditions to enhance local residents’ daily lives. Completion is expected in the first half of 2025.
