Researchers in the U.S. have developed a harmless yellow powder capable of absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, marking a significant advancement in combating climate change. This material, known as covalent organic framework (COF), can absorb and release carbon efficiently and can be reused hundreds of times. With the potential to integrate with existing carbon capture systems, this technology promises to reduce energy costs associated with carbon removal while providing a scalable solution for cities.
