Inquest Reveals Circumstances of Former England Rugby Star Tom Voyce’s Drowning
An inquest has revealed that former England rugby player Tom Voyce’s car was found submerged in 7ft of water after being swept away while attempting to cross a flooded ford during Storm Darragh. The 43-year-old’s body was later recovered downstream in Northumberland. Voyce, who earned nine caps for England and had a successful club career, was last seen on December 7, leading to a search initiated by his wife, Anna. The hearing at County Hall in Morpeth has been adjourned until April 1.
