An installer unearthed a treasure chest containing hundreds of gold coins while renovating a villa in Vienna. The metal chest, which weighs around 30 kilograms, was discovered during demolition work after a rope sticking out of the floor caught the installer’s attention. With the current high gold prices, the treasure is valued at over 2.3 million euros. Details about the coins remain unclear, and the installer may claim half of the treasure, while the villa owner retains the other half.
