In 2024, the Labor Inspection conducted 1,273 road transport checks in Greece as part of the European Labor Authority’s action weeks. These inspections, carried out in cooperation with the Traffic Police, revealed 495 violations, including 31 related to undeclared employment, leading to fines totaling €635,950. Key issues included non-compliance with working hour limits and insufficient documentation. The inspections also included efforts to inform drivers of their rights.
