Interactive Wheelchair Basketball Event Celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Greece
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the New Democracy Party’s Secretariat for Disability Affairs and the Panhellenic Association of Paraplegics organized an interactive wheelchair basketball game at the Aigaleo Indoor Gymnasium. Attendees included professional wheelchair basketball players and community members who wanted to engage in this unique experience. Maria Syreggela, Secretary of the Political Committee of New Democracy, and Kostas Lolitsas, head of the Secretariat for Disability Affairs, emphasized the importance of solidarity and inclusivity.
