International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Israeli Leaders Amid War Controversies
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes. Israeli Ambassador to France, Joshua Zarka, condemned the decision as arbitrary and politically motivated, asserting that it undermines Israel’s right to defend itself. The ICC’s actions have also led to a warrant for Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif. Zarka urged French President Emmanuel Macron not to enforce the warrant if Netanyahu visits France.
