Tommy Goudey, known as ‘Tom Monopoly,’ is under investigation for organized fraud related to alleged real estate scams. Over a dozen individuals have reported financial losses ranging from thousands to hundreds of thousands of euros after being advised by Goudey to hire construction companies for unfinished renovation projects. The Montbéliard prosecutor has called for witnesses and opened an inquiry into Goudey’s activities, which may include his involvement with businesses linked to the unfinished work. Goudey has denied the allegations and shifted blame to the contractors.
