The Ioannina Security Sub-Directorate has solved a theft case involving the distraction method, which occurred on October 8, 2024. Two local women allegedly approached an elderly individual under the guise of selling clothing, managing to steal €2,500 from her wallet. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused, and the case file will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office in Ioannina.
