Authorities in Greater Manchester have launched an investigation following the discovery of a baby’s remains near the M61 motorway bridge. Known as ‘Baby A’, the infant’s identity and the circumstances surrounding the death are currently unknown. Detectives, led by Ch Supt Neil Blackwood of Greater Manchester Police, are collaborating with local agencies and appealing for public information to aid in their inquiry. A cordon has been established at the scene as the investigation continues.
