An investigation has been launched by gardaí following the discovery of a woman’s body in an apartment in Mallow, Co Cork. The deceased, believed to be in her 30s and originally from west Cork, was found with injuries at around 10.30am. The scene has been sealed off for forensic examination, and a post-mortem is set to take place at Cork University Hospital. Authorities are seeking witnesses from the area to assist in the investigation.
