The investigation team probing the crash of Jeju Air’s Boeing 737-800, which resulted in the deaths of 179 people, has successfully downloaded initial data from one of the aircraft’s black boxes. South Korea’s Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation, Jo Jung-gwan, announced that the download of cockpit voice recorder data is complete, and investigators are now working on retrieving information from the flight data recorder.
