The Israeli military announced it conducted nearly 480 airstrikes in the past 48 hours targeting strategic military installations and weapon systems in Syria, following the ousting of President Bashar al-Assad by a coalition of rebel groups led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham. The strikes focused on preventing strategic weapons from falling into the hands of terrorist elements, targeting warships, anti-aircraft systems, airports, and numerous weapon production facilities across various Syrian cities including Damascus and Latakia.
