Israeli troops stormed the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, Northern Gaza, leading to claims of hundreds of casualties among patients and displaced Palestinians. Hospital director Hossam Abu Safiya reported that while many were allowed to return, some were sent away by soldiers. The assault was condemned as a war crime by the Hamas-led Health Ministry. The WHO stated no warnings were provided prior to the attack, which significantly disrupted hospital operations, leaving it with minimal capacity. An Indonesian medical team has also been forced to leave as a result.
