The authorities in the United Arab Emirates discovered the body of Zvi Kogan, an Israeli-Moldovan rabbi, who had been missing since Thursday. The Israeli government condemned the incident as a ‘horrific anti-Semitic terrorist act’ and pledged to pursue justice for Kogan’s death. Kogan had been working with the Chabad Orthodox Jewish group in the UAE. Israeli officials have advised against nonessential travel to the UAE and urged current visitors to limit their movements.
