Italy Continues Military Support for Ukraine Until 2025
The Italian government has approved a new legislative decree extending military assistance to Ukraine through the end of 2025. Since Russia’s invasion in February 2022, Italy has provided ten military aid packages, including advanced air defense systems. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has committed to supporting Ukraine until the war concludes, while NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has urged alliance members to increase military aid. Additionally, the G7 has pledged ongoing support and approved a $50 billion loan for Ukraine using seized Russian assets.
