Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has expressed ‘exceptional and serious concern’ regarding the rapidly evolving political situation in South Korea, following the imposition and subsequent lifting of martial law by South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol. Ishiba reassured that no reports of injuries to Japanese citizens in South Korea had been received.
