Jean-Luc Mélenchon, founder of La France insoumise, has stated that French Prime Minister François Bayrou will likely face censure and predicted political turmoil in the country. In an interview with ‘Le Parisien’, Mélenchon suggested that only an early presidential election in 2025 could rescue France from its current political impasse. He foresees a confrontation with Marine Le Pen and plans to introduce a motion of no-confidence against Bayrou unless he gains parliamentary support on January 16.
