During a speech in Luanda, Angola, President Joe Biden announced the allocation of more than $1 billion in humanitarian aid for Africans displaced by unprecedented drought and facing severe hunger. The aid, coordinated by USAID, aims to address food insecurity and urgent needs across 31 countries. This assistance reinforces the U.S. commitment to support African partners and calls for additional generosity from other donors.
