Jordan Duflot, the candidate from the National Rally, has emerged as the frontrunner in the first constituency of Ardennes during the partial legislative election held on December 1st, securing 39.11% of the votes. Former deputy Lionel Vuibert also qualified for the second round with 25.42%. The election saw a significant abstention rate of 69%, reflecting voter disengagement. The second round is set for December 7, following the resignation of RN elected official Flavien Termet for health reasons.
