The city of Kalamatta warmly welcomed the revered Icon of Panagia Soumela, a symbol of Pontic Hellenism, on December 5th. The Metropolitan Bishop of Veria, Naousa, and Kampania, Panteleimon, delivered the icon, received by local clergy and dignitaries. The icon will remain for veneration until December 12th, marking a deep connection to cultural heritage.
