Kalavryta Cooperative’s Feta Cheese Leads Greece in Sales

The Traditional PDO Feta Cheese from the Kalavryta Cooperative has become the top-selling barrel-aged feta cheese in Greece. Produced from high-quality pasteurized goat and sheep milk sourced locally, this cheese matures for three months and offers a rich, slightly salty flavor with distinct aromas. Cooperative President Pavlos Satolias highlighted their 50-year journey working with over 1,150 local farmers and emphasized the growing challenges in agriculture, including climate change and rising production costs. He called for government support for both producers and consumers amidst increasing agricultural prices.
